| OAM to Artarmon resident
Artarmon resident Dr David Henry Clune was presented the Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia on Australia Day for service to librarianship and the documentation and preservation of the history of politics and to the Parliament of NSW.
Dr Clune was research manager of the NSW Parliamentary Library from 1994 to 2009 and parliamentary historian from 2001 to 2009. He is also author, co-author and contributor to several books, particularly on the NSW parliament's history. He was a member of the Sesquicentenary of Responsible Government 1856-2006 committee and the Macquarie 2010 Bicentenary Celebration Committee.
